what caught my attention
i've always been a stickler for having my documents directory very organized on my computer. there are never any items/folders on my desktop, and my downloads directory is cleaned out nightly. seemed like a way to slightly clean up my digital life even more.
how did I end up here
someone shared a link to the site in the 32-bit cafe discord and it was all over.

considered one of the most remote settlements in the world, they don't have an airport or any deep harbour allowing larger ships to visit. also their only farm is literally called the "Potato Patches". i ordered yarn, a penguin, and various items from their post office and they showed up 7 months later!

what caught my attention
there's an island on a speck of land in the middle of nowhere in the atlatic ocean, I had to know more about it (and in the end order stuff they sell from the island).
how did I end up here
late nights on google maps, when the words "Edinburgh of the Seven Seas" showed up in the middle of the ocean.
