I'm Rew.
I'm a professional weatherman that spends most of my time buried in computers and planes. Outside of my required work projects, I spend most of my time (outside various adventures) working on what I have learned are best called SOFA [Start Often, Fuck Achievements] projects.
My journey on the internet started back in the era of Homested and AIM. From there it was programming my TI-83 (totally not to cheat), suffering through Matlab classes, and finally trading Python code for As at university. Since then it has been a whirlwind of getting lost in various corners of the internet. Learning to write awful offline code for the government. Learning just enough about everything so I could run a company. And most recently trying to have fun while working at an airline. Let's not even start down the road of the dozens of projects lost along the way.
Not everything I have done in life has been on a computer. I'm just a little proud of my photography work over the years, just please don't ask me to take pictures of people. And my list of favorite cafes and ice cream shops grows by the day.
This site is around entirely to a collection of projects and notes that aren't polished enough for my "professional" portfolio. And no promises if I get around to updating here daily... or every couple of months.
