about camp rew

it's a little piece of the internet where i can let loose and not have to worry about the professional image i have to keep up for my job, life, etc. here you will find projects that aren't as polished, thoughts that might not be 100% politically correct, and other snips that i'd not share more broadly. additionally, most things here are built using open source tools as much as possible since, let's be honest, social media and the strive to be the top google result has taken over the web.

i am rew. or andrew or asketchyfish as most of the internet knows me. if you want to know about real me and everything i've done professionally go ahead and check out asketchyfish.com. that's where my shiny projects and cv are. the goal of camp rew was to create a one-way street from here to there. keep my long created web presence (asketchyfish) out there on all the usual platforms so i can keep employeed and paying rent, while all my weird and odds thoughts and projects can hide down here. because as much as capitalism is starting to royally suck, i still like eating, and most companies don't like their directors and ctos too outspoken. in the words of austin powers, "oh, smashing, groovy, yay capitalism"

right now its a dynamically served site built on astro with help from tailwindcss because i am a lazy coder. the code runs on serve (via node) within a docker container managed by caprover on a digital ocean droplet. it will 1000% not support more than a few dozen awesome people like you on it at one time, so please be nice.
